Robert Half Systems Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of system security policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems.

  • Provide technical support to end-users.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering.

  • Strong understanding of server hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
