The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking an experienced Rewards and Recognition Sr. Program Manager to develop a comprehensive global rewards and recognition program that celebrates the achievements and contributions of safety professionals within the organization. This individual will be energized to design a global program showcasing our commitment to safety in every environment, community, and geography where Amazon and our partners have a presence. This role is critical in motivating and acknowledging the contributions of our safety teams, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a generative safety culture across our organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience building recognition programs preferably within Safety or Operations. They will have experience aligning stakeholders to a shared vision, experience implementing and sustaining global programs for field professionals.

Key job responsibilities

• Strategy and Program Development: Develop and execute a strategic rewards and recognition roadmap tailored to the unique needs and objectives of the organization.

• Program Deployment: Lead the integration and implementation of Amazon’s HOP program, procedures and trainings in the field

• Communication and Engagement: Drive awareness and commitment to rewards and recognition initiatives through effective communication strategies, ensuring high levels of leadership and associate engagement and participation.

• Project Management: Manage projects within defined timelines and budgets, anticipate project risks and proactively propose mitigation strategies, and communicate project updates to leadership

• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Collaborate with various cross-functionals teams including operations, and vendor partners to drive alignment, adoption, project milestones and deliverables

• Measurement: Define objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards and success measures to guide implementation and monitor progress

• Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in the field, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement

A day in the life

As the Manager of Rewards & Recognition, your day is a dynamic blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You'll lead the charge in designing and implementing innovative recognition programs while building alignment and leading the pilot and implementation. From developing comprehensive strategies to fostering employee engagement and managing cross-functional collaborations, you'll be the driving force behind elevating workplace satisfaction and safety standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
