Job Description

The Senior Director Rebate Analytics is responsible for the development and execution of Prime’s rebate analytics arm. This position provides oversight for internal and external rebate analytics completeness, dashboards, executive reporting, and outcomes recommendations. This requires analytics insights to maintain both excellent service levels for Prime’s existing clients and contribute to competitive intelligence and pricing strategies to win new business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of short and long-term rebate analytic efforts aimed at driving competitiveness and meeting market and business objectives for Prime and its clients.

  • Provide leadership to a team responsible for rebate analytics including both internal and client-facing reporting, dashboards, and variance explanations. Offer full visibility and insight into assumptions both controllable and non-controllable.

  • Provide oversight to the rebate analytics function to ensure scaled and repeatable results providing full insight and transparency into the different value driving variable of rebates offerings.

  • Provide full and complete executive variance walks to understand what’s going right and what is off track relative to client offering.

  • Collaborate effectively with Prime’s Clinical, Client Engagement, Product Development, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to bring competitive opportunities to market and explain current results to expected results.

  • Provide department leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, as well as elevating department effectiveness.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

  • 10 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmaceutical drug distribution, pharmaceutical procurement, analytical, contracting, or other relevant roles within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry

  • 7 years of management/leadership experience

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of and experience within the PBM industry

  • Familiarity with contract language and risk mitigation concepts

  • Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of Prime

  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications

  • Expert negotiation and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or post graduate coursework

  • Experience working within a matrix environment

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to "move or transverse"

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment

  • Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas. Must be able to exchange accurate information

Potential pay for this position ranges from $164,000.00 - $279,000.00 based on experience and skills.
