The S&OP Supply Chain Manager works across the organization in a cross-functional environment with Operations, Product, and Tech teams to define the needs, goals, and execution plans to create a world class transportation network. They maintain and report up to date and accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis. They also facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolves any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity. The Supply Chain Manager also provides timely resolution to issues by researching and querying internal tools and by making real-time decisions. An ideal candidate should be able to understand the requirements/be able to analyze data and notice trends and be able to drive Customer Experience without compromising on time.

In this position, you will own mid to long term planning for SWA GTS input (load count, fill rates, LOH, equipment mix). This position requires working with partner teams across various supply chain functions like transportation, engineering, launch, finance, and operational planning (under the roof and on-road). This position will also require working with business teams such as Finance and Network Design. This role is a high visibility role as it requires regular interaction with leadership team and involves in critical decision making. Finally, this position develops and implements scalable solutions to support new reverse logistics volume streams and to seamlessly integrate these volume streams into the Last/Middle Mile planning businesses.

• Work with partner teams across various supply chain functions like transportation, engineering, launch, finance, and operational planning (under the roof and on-road)

• Leverage historical data to create forward looking planning models to integrate in partnership with business teams

• Utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges

• Provide forecast and work with downstream & upstream stakeholders, such as Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and North America Sort Center (NASC), to plan for capacity

• Collaborate with AMZL and NASC to drive capacity decisions such as hiring, vehicle procurement and onboarding Delivery Service Partners

• Improve long-term load count planning and fill rates planning accuracy

• Present data-driven proposals and plans to Sr. Leadership

• Travel 5% each quarter required

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
