Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN at Bridgestone America HQ.

This role will be responsible for supporting Bridgestone’s (1) Off-the-Road Tire (“OTR”) and (2) GCR Tires & Service (“GCR”) Business Units. Key functions include analysis of monthly business results, generation of quarterly forecasts and annual budget, semiannual import cost setting, and various ad-hoc analyses as needed. Beyond the analysis, the successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally with other business functions (marketing, sales, operations, HR) and help to influence the understanding and decisions of business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of monthly results culminating in presentation to business leaders

  • Support P&L-focused forecast with focus on price, volume, and mix impacts

  • Lead cost alignment exercise on product imported from international Bridgestone entities

  • Understanding of accounting structure for both OTR & GCR in order to advise stakeholders of variance drivers in specific GL accounts

  • Model P&L in multiple formats (by tire category, by manufacturing source, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field from an accredited university

  • 3-5 year of experience required in a similar Finance function

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills required.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server strongly preferred; working knowledge of SAP & BW a plus

  • Thinks strategically, possesses strong analytical capability and has solid business acumen
