Job Purpose
The RIA Internal Consultant is responsible for servicing, marketing, and promoting Jackson's financial product within a specific geographical area. This is accomplished by providing insights and product information so financial professionals can effectively refer clients to the RIA Concierge Desk, effectively utilizing Jackson products. The RIA Internal Consultant works with a group of RIA External Consultants assigned to geographical territories and is responsible for managing existing relationships with IARs to increase the utilization of Jackson products throughout the given territories by supporting the RIA External Consultants in their daily work. This is accomplished through a consultative approach, confirming meetings, and providing support to the RIA External Consultant. This role requires an individual that is focused on opportunities with excellent phone skills, strong work ethic and is results driven.
Essential Responsibilities
Effectively manage daily communications with financial professionals to ensure resolution of all issues and questions.
Educate financial professionals regarding different Jackson advisory financial products and how to identify annuity needs within a client’s financial plan.
Set and confirm meetings for RIA External Consultants, utilizing the opportunity to further Jackson’s relationship with the advisor and uncover additional client opportunities.
Develop and enhance relationships with financial representatives.
Coordinate and maintain clear communications and pipeline management with financial professionals, the RIA External Consultants, and the ASU team.
Answer queue and inbound calls, utilizing opportunity to further Jackson’s relationship with the advisor and uncover additional client opportunities.
Work with Director of Sales Enablement to develop and implement improvements for channel success.
Partner with RIA External Consultant(s) to develop and execute a business plan that includes long-and short-term business objectives.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
1+ years of prior financial services experience required.
Series 6 or 7, 63 and Insurance License within 90 Days required.
