The mission of Worldwide Operations Security Tech (WWOSTech) is to support Amazon’s Worldwide Operations, as well as affiliate and retail businesses, by creating and maintaining a work environment that is both prepared and secure through global security centers of excellence staffed by subject matter experts in people and asset protection. WWOSTech accomplishes this by building innovative, highly scalable services & technologies that that eliminate subjectivity, complexity, and variation: identifying, preparing for, and mitigating risk; and auditing our practices to ensure compliance. As part of WWOSTech, we build exciting software technology products that help with security and loss prevention for Amazon operations. We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Sr Manager, Product Manager - Technical to drive our team of talented Product Managers to deliver world-class software products for risk, resilience, and investigation management.
The right candidate possesses a strong background in customer-experience and product and program management, combined with solid understanding of current cloud-based software and web technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment. The candidate should have a track record of timely delivery of projects, be willing to dig in and get the job done, providing input to speed up key decisions.

Key job responsibilities
Lead a set of products to develop and execute the product roadmap using Amazon's working backwards process, including identifying customer pain points and new opportunities
Establish best practices to define, prioritize, and communicate product requirements to cross-functional teams using Amazon's working backwards process
Reinforce a team's ability to analyze emerging industry trends in Security & Loss prevention that can contribute to the long-term product strategy
Work with multiple engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and business objectives
Collaborate with user experience teams, data engineering, and solution architects to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for complex workflows
Create foundational mechanisms to analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve product performance and user experience across the organization and suite of products
Monitor the execution of projects in the portfolio, providing project progress to stakeholders when needed, identify and mitigating risks, and pushing for appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project
Work closely with various teams to ensure scalability and maintainability of the products
A day in the life
The Principal Product Manager-Tech will set and establish vision at a portfolio level. You will dive in when necessary and meet with stakeholders across different business lines in Worldwide Amazon Stores, Corporate, and AWS. You'll engage with multiple Product Managers and teams to strategize and deliver state of the art solution solutions.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
