Robert Half Position - Sr.PM 2 - Onsite - Nashville, TN in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Project Manager II to join our team. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, this role will involve leading a variety of high complexity projects across multiple teams, departments, service centers, and client locations. The individual in this role will be the single point of accountability for assigned projects and will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing these projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of communication with stakeholders to manage multiple project business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activities

• Author and facilitate strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans, and present project updates to business owners

• Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in the project plan

• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies, and report on project/program status within the published schedule

• Identify, manage, and monitor the completion of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle

• Provide management of staff to assure the quality of work and integration of team members’ work

• Mentor staff in applying project management controls

• Facilitate decision-making that is required for progress on the project

• Author and facilitate project implementation documentation, including but not limited to implementation toolkits and migration schedules

• Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management

• Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost

• Solve technical and non-technical problems throughout the life of the project. Requirements • Must possess strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Demonstrated ability in project management and planning processes

• Experience in supervising teams and coordinating tasks

• Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations

• Must have knowledge of "About Time" and "Workstation Support"

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively

• Capability to perform ad hoc financial tasks and financial analysis

• Demonstrated progress and implementation skills in previous roles

• Must be able to travel as per project requirements

• Experience in staffing and managing resources effectively

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and integrate their needs into the project

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a must

• Quality and scheduling skills are mandatory for this role
