Overview:
PLEASE NOTE: POSITION IS REMOTE WITH PREFERENCE FOR CANDIDATES IN BURLINGTON, MA. (IN OFFICE 1-2X PER WEEK)
As part of the Consulting Solutions Group practice, the Solution Principal role is responsible for working jointly with the Oracle NetSuite direct Sales and Account Management groups to provide scoping, solutioning and estimation of the Professional Services effort required for new sales opportunities. The Senior Solution Principal will also be responsible for working directly with customers to document and validate their business requirements across the NetSuite EPM product offerings.
The Senior Solution Principal is also responsible for presenting and delivery of the final Statement of Work (SOW) for the Professional Services to implement the products sold. Although the initial customer requirements are obtained by the Sales team, the Senior Solution Principal may from time-to-time work with the Sales team during the initial discovery and demo process to ensure that the prospect’s requirements are fully understood and included in the implementation SOW.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with a team of sales representatives and Solutions Consultants in the specific Vertical to validate in and out of scope requirements and assist with solutioning as necessary
Collaborate with Practice Vertical Leads, Practice Directors and Practice Managers to determine best approach to Professional Service offerings based on prospect and scope
Manage and prioritize Professional Services opportunities
Create Statements of Work and develop cost estimates for Professional Services efforts
Manage and prioritize requests from both Direct and Account Management teams
Maintain Professional Services Engagement Record updates within our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritize Professional Services sales opportunities
Develop, deliver and sell high-impact Professional Services Value Proposition
Participate in pricing and Statement of Work presentations to prospective customers to present and discuss contents of an SOW
Provide explanations to prospects for questions regarding SOWs and Oracle NetSuite offerings
Negotiate with prospects in regards to inclusions/exclusions in the scope of the SOW and update pricing accordingly
Serves as sales technical support on Oracle EPM opportunities.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of numerous factors
Demonstrates experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative
Knowledge transfer to the Professional Services implementation team
Ability to acquire and maintain an understanding of Oracle NetSuite and Oracle EPM products
Assisting clients with mapping their budget & priorities to the scope and deploymentstrategy
Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems
Four or more years of relevant professional experience.
3+ years of consulting or system administration experience with Oracle EPM products including: PBCS, ARCS, FCCS, Narrative Reporting, Profitability & Cost Management
Experience with NetSuite ERP is preferred
Experience with Blackline, Floqast, or Anaplan.
Experience with Oracle PBCS, ARCS, FCCS, and Narrative is preferred
Experience working with sales teams, ideally in a services and/or product pre-sales role
Experience preparing and presenting solution value propositions
Experience creating Statements of Work and cost estimates
Strong negotiation skills
Strong customer relationship acumen and consulting skills
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience successfully delivering presentations via web conferencing
Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to core ERP processes
Financial application package experience, plus a good understanding of accounting principles
Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world class business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
