Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work from Sunday to Friday and most Saturdays, with hours from 2:30pm to 10:30pm. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance skills to effectively perform daily tasks and additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical tasks using wrenches, sockets, grease guns, and O-ring replacements.

• Utilize basic electrical knowledge including low voltage and control voltage.

• Maintain and ensure the safe operation of various hand tools, both electric and manual.

• Conduct routine industrial maintenance and preventive maintenance.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and HVAC diagrams.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting on three-phase systems.

• Utilize measurement tools such as tape measures, digital calipers, micrometers, and feeler gauges.

• Work independently with minimal supervision from a defined task list.

• Complete daily routines and additional tasks as required.

• Enter and close work orders using basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Essential Skills

• Basic mechanical skills

• Knowledge of wrenches and sockets

• Experience with grease guns and O-ring replacement

• Basic electrical knowledge (low voltage/control voltage)

• Industrial maintenance experience

• Understanding of safe operation of various hand tools

• Basic to intermediate measurement skills (tape measure, digital calipers, micrometer, feeler gauges)

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Basic computer skills for record keeping

Work Environment

The work environment includes working hours from 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Sunday to Friday and most Saturdays. The role requires the use of various hand tools, both electric and manual, and involves working independently with minimal supervision. The dress code is typically casual, appropriate for maintenance work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
