MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Job Description:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance activities within the facility, including directing contractor maintenance personnel as necessary. The position will be responsible for maintaining facility assets and buildings, as well as the parts stores, and ensuring necessary parts and equipment are available to support manufacturing activities on site.

Bachelors Degree required
10+ years of maintenance experience
Proven Leadership and Management Experience
Knowledge/Experience
Strong Mechanical and Electrical Competence
Coursework providing pipefitting, machine repair, hydraulic, welding, and electrical knowledge
Strong background knowledge of operating equipment and department processes, including PLC programming, PanelView, and equipment controls programming.
Understand the principles of safety and safe work
Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
Strong leadership skills & effective interpersonal skills
Good PC, Excel, Word, and Google Suite skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Responsible for Maintenance and Capital project execution.
Responsible for establishing maintenance budget and maintaining spend within budget.
Responsible for recruiting and developing the maintenance team.
Accountable for compliance with all applicable Food Safety, environmental, health and safety procedures and other regulations in the maintenance department
Accountable for regulatory documentation and controls.
Accountable for establishing critical spares and ensuring spare stock levels.
Accountable for weekly maintenance schedule, monthly and annual shutdown schedules, and maintenance strategy.
Planning Team member provides technical expertise about plant capabilities and limitations.
Responsible for reliability and life cycle cost goals that support and contribute to the plant´s business results, prioritizing major maintenance activities in the plant.
Responsible for equipment criticality analysis to guarantee a proper preventive program and quick response to failures.
Responsible for continuous improvement of the maintenance strategy and maintenance procedure development to minimize maintenance expense and downtime of the plant using root cause analysis.
Responsible for developing, implementing, tracking, and reporting relevant KPIs to optimize resource management and equipment reliability.
All other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
