Aerotek Field Service Technician in Nashville, Tennessee

Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for traveling onsite to install equipment at customer locations, assembling and building the equipment in the shop, performing final quality checks on the equipment prior to being sent to the customer, and working with customers remotely to troubleshoot the equipment via phone or online. This position requires the ability to read blueprints and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Travel onsite to install equipment at customer locations (40% travel).

  • Assemble and build the equipment in the shop.

  • Perform final quality checks on the equipment prior to being sent to the customer.

  • Work with customers remotely to troubleshoot the equipment via phone or online.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.

  • Electrician skills.

  • Repair and maintenance program knowledge.

  • Electrical and mechanical skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
