Job Summary and Qualifications
This position designs, facilitates, and manages programs and projects to support the HCA enterprise Regulatory and Accreditation Services (RAS) agenda. Duties include the ability to manage, organize, and analyze program needs, identify program gaps, and drive program execution. Leveraging expertise in process engineering, the candidate will drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient outcomes across the organization. The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and negotiation skills that foster strong working relationships. Key partner across clinical and operational teams. Up to 25% Travel.
Major Responsibilities:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Design and develop strategic supporting programs, tools and processes to facilitate the execution of RAS strategies and initiatives. Partner with other teams within the Clinical Services Group, ITG, PI, HRG and other key stakeholders as needed to achieve this objective.
•Collaborates with cross-functional design partners (as well as external partners) to design, manage, assign and execute quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
•Develop strategic documents such as program charters, project plans, assessments, education, and communication plans. Proactively identifies and mitigates risks to strategy, project plans, and key milestones.
•Lead comprehensive analyses of existing processes, utilizing data-driven approaches to identify root causes of inefficiencies and areas for improvement for streamlining workflows, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency.
•Develop presentations to provide senior leadership with detailed data analysis and interpretation, presenting complex information in a clear and actionable format for informed decision-making.
•Ensures program supporting resources meet all needs of customers, including but not limited to presentation materials, education/training plans and content, communications plans, etc.
•Designs and ensures adherence to standard work templates and processes.
•Identify and evaluate tools to improve program and team effectiveness.
•Facilitates project updates/presentations to Business Owners and leaders at multiple levels within the organization.
•Actively communicate with stakeholders to accomplish project activities across multiple business groups.
•Proactively identify and resolve issues; manage program/project deliverables, manage and mitigate risk.
•Leads change control processes are established and effective for programs/projects across all involved business entities.
•Facilitate decision-making that is required for progress on assigned programs/projects.
•Monitor and regularly assess the quality and effectiveness of program delivery, and provide feedback to ensure consistent effective program performance.
•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
•Serves as a facilitator, technical advisor, and analyst to hospital management and teams on the use of process improvement tools and techniques, and analytical techniques.
•Contribute to a culture of safety and regulatory compliance. Model optimal behavior and encourages others to participate in safety initiatives.
•Attend meetings and participate in committees as required.
•Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
•Continue professional development.
•Independently and effectively manage assigned project work.
Education & Experience:
•Master's degree preferred
•Bachelor's degree required
•5+ years of experience in leading large scales projects focused on process improvement
•PMP, LEAN, or Six Sigma Certification- must obtain within one year of hire required
•Expert user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Work, Power Point, SharePoint, and Access.
•Ability to use data systems such as: Power Bi, Visual Insights, etc.
•Tactical execution – demonstrates personal ownership of tasks and follows through to get the required results in the established timeframe.
•Experience leading large, enterprise-scale projects or programs required
•Strong process improvement experience in a large-scale corporate environment required.
•Exceptional critical thinking skills required.
•Possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
