Actalent CAD Technician in Nashville, Tennessee

Actalent is seeking a CAD Technician with experience using AutoCAD for a full-time role near Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished 2D drawings in AutoCAD by entering specifications and dimensions.

  • Support the engineering department with developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

  • Work with mechanical, structural, and sheet metal fabrication drawings.

  • Design everything from concrete footings, structural steel, and custom machines.

  • Select parts from the design library.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • At least 1 year of drafting experience, either through school projects or job experience.

  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude, particularly with fractions.

  • Certificate in Drafting or an Associate's degree in Draft/Design is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00
