About the role

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting basic research, data mining, reporting and interpretation of company performance metrics.

This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving efficiency and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What you’ll do

  • Generate reports using aggregate data from numerous sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.

  • Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.

  • Audit system performance and usage metrics of queries and reports.

  • Discover opportunities for improvements among the clients and company.

  • Foster teamwork between personnel from different departments and information technology groups to enable flawless project implementations.

  • Manage the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Impact the quality of own work.

  • Work with management to build standardized procedures and practices to handle project intake, achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

  • Find relationships among disparate data sources that span an international market.

  • Work with IT support to build new data sources and flows.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of meaningful experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience generating report requirements and translating those requirements into a dashboard or visualization.

  • Experience in detailing report data flows or taking ownership of a reporting suite.

  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, etc.

  • Experience handling projects and communicating with team members and customers.

  • Skills with large data set auditing, reporting and formulating standard processes.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Intelligence Analyst position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Business Intelligence Analyst position is $95,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
