Position Summary

The Bridgestone Activation Manager will be an integral part of the Activation team within the COE Brand, helping to execute the activation strategy, and leading the hospitality operations for Bridgestone’s partnership portfolio as well as all brand activations. This role will lead brief development for activating partnership platforms, built from the strategy defined by MSO and lead activation executions,, day to day agency management, work on asset delivery with Content team across multiple stakeholders and contributors to ensure we’re maximizing contractual obligations. Ensuring these activations provides a broader view of how Bridgestone is not just partnerships, but demonstrates workplace initiatives, leadership commitments, and ERG initiatives. This role will also manage the trade shows based in US in collaboration with the Brand Team, the meetings and events team and the Business Marketers. This role will also play a key active role to leverage our activation partnerships towards our employees.

This position will report to the Head of Activation WEST and includes cross functional interactions with the West Marketing COE, especially with the MSO team defining the Activation strategy and with the Brand team, retail operations and sales teams, senior leadership, key customers, agencies, and internal / external partners. This teammate, based in Nashville, will particularly support all US based activations and processes and marketing platforms and systems that enable our marketing function to deliver the company’s mission and business objectives. They will also collaborate with LATAM teams to ensure the consistence in our Bridgestone activations.

Responsibilities

  • Activate partnership programs and asset utilization, working cross functionally with the Marketing West COE across Bridgestone’s partnerships with Formula E, NFL Teams, PGA TOUR, NHL Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, and other national and local partnerships.

  • Manage the US based trade shows in collaboration with the brand team, the meetings & events team and the Business Marketers.

  • Responsible for budget management and forecasting for US based activations.

  • Act as day-to-day contact for business and functional agencies responsible for delivering key platform and content initiatives within expected timeframes.

  • Assist with hospitality and event program development and execution.

  • Help build and integrate DE&I, sustainability, and employee engagement into activations.

  • Identify KPIs and deliver agreed upon that measures and supports back to the business

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Activation Management, with brand partnerships, leagues, teams, or agency partners.

  • ​Preferred Motorsports experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and collaboration skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams. Must also have demonstrated cross-functional leadership.

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, streamline processes, and track budgets

  • Experience managing agency partners and/or external vendors

  • Consistent track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and interpersonal skills to lead multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). In addition, working knowledge of SAP a plus.

  • Ability to work with autonomy and able to work in Matrix organization with a remote management

  • Structured, Team player, solution minded, open to other cultures.

  • Able to travel as needed. This includes overnight travel, weekend and holiday travel, and potentially extended travel during major events

  • Bachelor's degree; 6 y+ years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience

  • Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience
