Hyatt Assistant Front Office Manager in NASHVILLE, Tennessee

Description:

The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for giving direction to the entire Front Office, Reservations, BellServices,Concierge,andGuestServicesdepartmentsensuringallqualitystandardsare incompliance andthatpoliciesandproceduresareconsistently applied.Thispositionmanagesthedayto dayoperationofthe Front Office, including, but not limited to running full shifts, managing the room inventory and the flow of arrivals and departures. This role is responsible for responding to guest requests and complaints and ensuring problem resolution that satisfies the guest.

· SupervisesFrontOfficeTeamMembers,ensuringadherence tohotel’spoliciesandstandards.

· ManagesanddevelopsFrontDeskAgentsandSupervisors

· AssistFrontOfficeTeamwiththeirjobfunctionstoensureoptimumservicetoguest

· Towelcome andregisterallarrivingguests,makingsurethatallpertinentinformationisobtained

· Efficientlyconduct check inandcheckoutprocedures

· Healthy communication with Housekeeping and Engineering departments and ensure that guest's expectationsaremet.Allmaintenanceissues properlylogged andfollowedupon

· Respondtoallguests’requestsorinapropermannerandensureappropriateactionis taken

· Meetrequestsregardingguestbilling

· Handlecashtransactionsinaccordancewiththeproperty’scashhandlingpolicy

· Maintainscurrentknowledge ofhotelculture,amenities, andservices,eventsinthe area,pointsofinterest,andservices inthearea

· Answerthetelephoneinaprofessionalmannerandassistguestswithanyquestions,directions,etc.

· Manageandresolveallguest complaintsandcomplimentsinaprofessionalandcourteousmanner

· Communicatewithalldepartments regardinginhouseVIPsandanyspecialrequests/needs

· Serveasaleaderindisplayingoutstandinghospitalityskills

· All othertasks anddutiesas assigned

Qualifications:

· Atleastone yearexperienceina roleas supervisor

· Hotel experience required
