Aston Carter Accounting Coordinator in Nashville, Tennessee

Description:

This role is primarily responsible for cash deposits, GL posting, and accounts receivable. Additional responsibilities include managing customer phone calls and walk-ins, order office supplies, and any other duties that are assigned by management. Responsibilities: Receive cash from the Parts, Service, and Rental Departments daily to prepare for the daily deposit Contact past due A/R customers regarding payment and investigating circumstances of non-payment Update receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions Maintain an accurate aging report weekly. Process Cash Customer refunds Provide A/R customers with account information and copies of statement activity, as requested Scan accounting documents and save into Docstar. File scanned accounting documents and documents saved for auditing purposes Assist in monthly closing of the books and monthly reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2-4 years related experience or education. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. PC skills required along with proficient experience in Microsoft Word and Excel Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills Team player with a positive and professional attitude. Must conduct his/her self in a professional manner with internal and external customers.
