This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
**General Mechanical and Hand Tool knowledge. Applicants who list any maintenance related experience or education on the application or resume.
Must meet all job bid requirements.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must provide own hand tools.
Must pass safety exam within 30 days of employment in the maintenance department.
Must pass maintenance fundamentals within 90 days of employment in the maintenance department.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to climb ladders.
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
Must observe all required hygiene and safety rules.
Job requires liftin, bending, twisting and turning.
Must complete Monthly Safety Computer Training before the end of each Month.
Prefer experience in one of the following fields
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Welding
Mechanical
Electrical
Refrigeration
** If job is Refrigeration, applicant must successfully pass the refrigeration physical, conducted by the nursing staff onsite.
**Nights/Rotate Weekends**
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.\"
