Please Note this position supports our 2 nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2 nd Shift.
Because of the need for consistent, in- person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We are seeking an experience test technician for our first shift manufacturing team. Come support various programs in electronic warfare using your technical skills in functional and environmental testing. You will work in a test manufacturing team that supports critical mission capabilities.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
Job Summary:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding,
removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Nay monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Follows complex test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to perform a variety of routine standard tests which required reading, interpreting and verifying specifications using simple test stand setups
Assists in complex tests involving the simultaneous use of a wide variety of standard test equipment.
Determines quality of equipment being tested by checking rest results against specific test procedures and data sheets.
Performs troubleshooting activities, sub-assemblies to component level, diagnoses minor deficiencies in equipment and recommends rework where necessary.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Needs an understanding of test instruments such as Oscilloscope, multi meters, RF analyzers.
Effective communication and team work
Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
Ability to hold security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Computer literacy
RF and digital analog experience
Active security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $62810 - $100540
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
