Responsibilities

The Orthopaedic ClinicatDartmouth Health Nashuais actively seeking ahighly motivatedandexperienced Physician Assistant (PA)with specialized training in Orthopaedics. This full-time position primarily involves outpatient clinic work, operating room first-assistance, and inpatient rounds.

In this role, the Physician Associate (PA) will independently assess patients, provide surgical first-assistance, and handle outpatient clinic duties. They will focus particularly on sports medicine, general orthopaedics, and joint procedures. The APP will also play a crucial role in patient triage, initiating treatments as necessary, and coordinating discharge or admission processes. Effective communication with medical specialties and support services will be essential for delivering comprehensive care and ensuring positive patient outcomes.

The position is a fulltime position (Monday through Friday), with full benefits. The position includes minimal on-call duties as well.

Qualifications

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Physician Assistance experience within Orthopaedics or a surgical subspeciality

  • Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. - Academic preparation at the Master's level required.

  • CPR Certified. - ACLS Certified (Can obtain within the first year of employment).

  • Area of Interest:Associate Provider;

  • FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;
