Covenant Health Enrollment & Financial Aid Assistant - Part time - 4 Evenings - 3P-9:30P, in Nashua, New Hampshire

The starting rate for this position is: $18.62

Summary

Performs diversified duties at the School of Nursing including but not limited to providing students and applicants with outstanding customer service, providing information related to admission requirements and financial aid. Collects documents and paperwork, enters data, and serves as a contact person for students, applicants, and outside agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.

  • Assists both the Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office. Provides school, program, and aid information to prospective students. Collects, records, tracks, and files applicant and student documents. Always maintains confidentiality.

  • Serves as an applicant, student, faculty, and staff resource. If unable to provide assistance, refers the individual to another staff person who can assist.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively with applicants, students, faculty, and staff.

  • Assists with Orientation, Career Fairs, Open Houses, Information Sessions, Graduations, and other events.

  • Secures the building at the end of the workday and conducts hazardous waste and safety inspections.

  • Proctors student exams as requested.

  • Other duties as consistent with this role.

  • Epic access not required.

    Job Requirements

    Job Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and internet-based applications.

  • Ability to multitask and interact with individuals of all ages and cultures.

  • Ability to maintain strictest level of confidentiality.

    Education and Experience

  • Associate degree preferred or comparable experience as a receptionist, secretary, or administrative assistant.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

    Working Conditions/Physical Demands

    Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
