Emerson Procurement Engineer in NASHIK, India
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop and administer Purchasing agreements with local suppliers – leverage Country and global agreements
Develop and maintain a valid and a robust supply line for all materials required in Cabinets including special buyouts
Manage Supply Chain to meet on time delivery objectives (90%+)
Manage the inventory to agreed level and ITO targets
Report key measures – supplier Performance / quality /Service and Support & total cost performance
Train team on day-to-day responsibilities and expectations as per Emerson Perfect Execution methodology – “reliable flow of materials“
Strong drive to resolve Supplier Performance issues – set expectations / training / monitoring / feedback / audits – same day GIQ resolution
Develop strong working relationships with our integrator partners, set standards for operation – flexibility of labor
Ensure compliance with local legislation/safety standards for contract workforce from integrators or outside agencies
Ensure a safe environment and adherence to safety requirements for any assembly work carried out at our integrators – regular review of safety trends/misses and accidents at integrators
Identifies and develops the integrator as per the requirements.
Monitoring the material flow at the integrator's place ensuring timely readiness of cabinets
Balance the workload across multiple resources, assign suppliers and project work to specific Buyers
Work with PSG Management and the Buyers to set individual objectives and ensure progress through out each period to meet those objectives
Manage the reporting of material usage/ trends /costs
Represent the tactical procurement team at various business meetings
Ensure compliance to ethics and compliance regulations – including local country process / procedures and regulations
Maintain and regular updating of part/supplier on business system (Oracle), including ABC coding
Implements supply chain concepts like Min_Max, safety stock, forecast for the high runner & based on the project needs. (Forecast Requirements, Material and Capacity Constraints)
Quality Control & Assurance
Implementation of EEEC IMS processes/documentation as & when required throughout the project.
Adopts to WA quality requirements and Customer’s regulatory guidelines
Practices and promotes First time right approach.
Strictly follows GDP (Good Documentation Practices).

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement within an industrial / manufacturing company (preferably electronics or electrical industry)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics)
Experienced people leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams
Experience in Oracle Business Systems would be a distinct advantage
Good project and resource management skills – Problem solver
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer Literate
Fluency in English
Ability to adapt to changes
