A Structural Engineering firm in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Structural EIT to their growing team!

Job Description:

• Perform structural engineering tasks on building projects using materials like concrete, steel, masonry, and wood

• Design slabs, floor systems, columns, walls, and foundations

• Conduct lateral analysis and design

• Coordinate with CAD and BIM departments

• Ensure drawings are coordinated with other disciplines (Architects, Mechanical Engineers, etc.)

• Respond to RFIs

• Review shop drawings

• Conduct site observations

• Attend and participate in project meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred

• 1+ years of experience in structural design and detailing

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design programs such as RAM, TEDDS, RISA, ADAPT, etc.

• Familiarity with Revit is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87
