The Assistant Compensation & Benefits Manager executes and implements all related to the hotel’s Compensation & Benefits, in line with government and Hilton policies and procedures.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Offer any kind of help and suggestion to all matters related to compensation and benefits.

• Set-up, maintain and manage the hotel attendance system, ensuring that attendance and payroll processes are approved, calculations are accurate, and all procedures comply with group policies and regulations.

• Provide efficient and timely support to the department’s Attendance Officer.

• Responsible for team member file management.

• Responsible for all team members’ social insurance, housing funds, commercial insurance and other labour related benefits.

• Liaise with local government authorities regarding labour law, labour relations and arbitration cases.

• Complete HR related reports, assist the Director of HR to manage forecasts and analyses of labour cost and productivity.

• Take charge of the filing system in the HR office and keep all files in a good system.

• Process the in / out memos and other documents efficiently and properly.

• Process all personnel action forms coming in / out of the HR office.

• Administer team member confirmations, promotions / demotions, transfers, salary adjustments and resignations, ensuring that all forms and database are properly processed, filed and updated.

• Prepare and renew contracts for all full-time employees, part time workers and casual workers, opening files for and updating all related information for all employees.

• Responsible for basic HR policies and procedures, and labour law training in the HR office.

• Supervise and check all records on sick leave, medical expenses, misconduct and personnel action forms.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and team member areas, including but not limited to, dormitories, the team member restaurant and locker rooms.

• Supervise and support the HR team in keeping the smooth operation of Compensation & Benefits.

• Ensure that the security and confidentiality of the HR department is strictly adhered to.

• Initiate any new and improved systems / procedures to be implement in order to upgrade all personnel filing systems and records.

• Handle arbitration cases to protect hotel’s benefits.

• Responsible for the management of health cards, ensuring card validity.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Able to maintain excellent relations with team members.

• Able to work under great physical and mental pressures.

• Familiar with computer systems.

• Fluent in spoken and written English to meet business needs.
