We are seeking a Global Commodity Manager to be based at our gas valve manufacturing facility in Nagykanizsa on a hybrid basis.

Taking ownership of sensor, cable and coil commodities you will support Resideo's global commodity strategy, working closely with Resideo electricals leadership team to develop and implement specific commodity goals.

JOB DUTIES:

• Working with the Resideo electricals leadership team to develop and implement specific commodity goals, e.g.

• Cost Deflation – lead year over year supplier negotiations and timely implementation of savings

• Supplier Consolidation/Reduction

• Develop and maintain preferred supplier listing

• Cycle-time Reduction – lead-time and delivery

• Drive payables improvement through extended payment terms

• Identify and drive emerging region sourcing where applicable

• Supplier Quality Development

• Identify raw material availability and risk

• Analyse and monitor our supplier’s financial strengths

• Achieve productivity and contribute to quality, delivery and inventory targets by leveraging global spend

• Develop, maintain, and communicate year over year AOP commodity planning based project decks with sourcing leadership

• Develop a forward strategy based on 1 year and 5-year goals. Follow and contribute to Business forward planning

• Ensure AOP (Annual Operating Plan) projects align with NPI site projects to ensure early supply chain involvement.

• Lead strategic on-site buyers and manage escalated supply chain issues

• Drive Common process usage.

• Serve as a commodity information expert on global supply markets.

• Comply with approved Resideo sourcing policies and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 5 years demonstrated commodity/supply-chain experience in procurement

• Working knowledge of supply chain analysis, contract preparations and supplier management principles

• Knowledge of all aspects of materials management, including negotiating and managing supplier relationships

• Capable of formulating and implementing material sourcing strategies in support of commodity team results

• Fluent in English

WE VALUE:

• Knowledge of Six Sigma (desirable not essential)

• Project management experience

• Skilled in Microsoft Office

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills coupled with good verbal and written communication skills to support communications occurring between multiple sites and countries
