Description

We are offering a contract to full time opportunity for a nonprofit organization in Muskegon Heights, MI. This is a full-time Bookkeeper position. The selected individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the complete and accurate financial records of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy

• Oversee accounts receivable by billing and receiving all money owed to the organization

• Manage accounts payable, making certain all bills are paid promptly

• Maintain an orderly and efficient accounting filing system

• Input data and maintain records in the organization's financial system

• Generate financial reports as needed

• Adhere to local, state, and federal government reporting requirements

• Process payroll for employees effectively and efficiently

• Offer support to auditing processes when required

• Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to prepare and manage Annual Budget

• Proficiency in Billing procedures

• Experience in managing Billing Functions
