Electrician (2nd Shift)

Schedule: 2 PM - 10:18 PM

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team on the 2nd shift. If you’re passionate about electrical systems and thrive in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow TS16949 and ISO14001 work instructions to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Read and interpret job-related work instructions and electrical schematics.

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Repair and rebuild electric motors (excluding rewinding stators and armatures).

  • Troubleshoot and repair various production equipment, including Ajax Induction Furnaces, ACS Osborn Mold units, Sand Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Shot-Blasting Equipment.

  • Maintain and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists (both electrical and mechanical, excluding welding).

  • Work with low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.

  • Layout electrical cabinets and execute conduit runs.

  • Utilize Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx) and manage PLC-5 and SLC500 hardware.

  • Perform work order entry and completion using basic computer skills.

  • Obtain forklift, articulating boom lift, and scissor lift licenses from the CWC safety department.

  • Bring your own personal hand tools to the job.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of a Journeyman Electrician Card or 6 years of experience in an electrical role within a manufacturing setting.

  • Proven experience with low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.

  • Strong understanding of PLC controls and electronic instrumentation, including temperature controllers, chart recorders, I/P and P/I converters, and variable frequency drives.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
