Description
We are in search of an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support a large company located in Muskegon, Michigan. The role involves handling invoice processing, vendor management, and financial reconciliations. This role offers a short-term contract, hybrid schedule, employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process invoices and requisitions for goods and services
• Ensure all transactions are legitimate and correctly priced
• Handle the matching and batching of invoices and purchase orders
• Keep accurate entries in the ledger
• Liaise with vendors, answering queries, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
• Uphold compliance with internal systems and financial procedures
• Prepare and present reports related to the accounts payable function
• Utilize accounting software systems, including SAP, for efficient account management
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Resolve customer issues related to invoices and account coding.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for efficient data organization and tracking.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required to maintain and manage financial records.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential for integrating and managing the important parts of the business.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is important to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial for managing outgoing payments and invoices.
• Proficiency in SAP is necessary for efficient business process management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data management and financial analysis.
• Ability to manage Customer Invoices accurately and promptly is necessary.
• Skill in resolving Customer Issues effectively and promptly is crucial for maintaining good customer relationships.
