Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description

Utilize software to create accurate and detailed drawings and survey maps. Collaborate with management and field crew to understand project requirements and specifications. Draft survey plans for boundary, ALTA, topographic, subdivision, easement, and other surveys. Ensure all drawings comply with required standards and regulations. Work directly with professional surveyor and field personnel to ensure timely project completion within budgets. Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions and assist with the organization of survey records, documents, and project files. Ability to read and interpret field notes, data files, and construction drawings and assist with construction calculations for staking on construction sites. Ensure that all drafts comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.

Hard Skills

• Software proficiency for drawing and mapping

• Drafting survey plans

• Reading and interpreting field notes, data files, and construction drawings

• Construction calculations for staking

• Compliance with industry standards and local regulations

• Experience with Carlson, AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads
