Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Plant Operator for an operations project in Murfreesboro, TN The Plant Operator will perform a variety of mid-complex to complex tasks encompassing field assignments based on requirements. This role involves daily operations and maintenance of the treatment plant, completing minor routine maintenance of equipment, and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. You will operate facilities with computer or PLC controls, monitor and adjust process equipment, collect samples, perform routine in-lab tests, maintain logs and records, and ensure compliance with permit requirements. Additionally, you will operate various types of equipment and actively participate in creating a safety culture at the jobsite.

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to perform basic control laboratory testing

• Experience with computer or PLC controls

• Routine laboratory and field tests skills

• Experience operating forklift, aerial or scissor lifts, generator, compressors, pumps

Soft Skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• Strong record-keeping skills

• Adaptability in learning new operating, maintenance, analytical or computer skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 7 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Murfreesboro, TN
