Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Job Description

The EHS representative will step into a manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities include injury investigations, handling the filing of workers' compensation claims, and conducting safety trainings. Additional responsibilities such as ISO audits and environmental projects may be assigned based on workload, previous experience/skillset, and business needs.

Hard Skills

• BS in Occupational Safety, Health & Environment; Occupational Health & Safety; Occupational Safety; Occupational Health & Safety Management

• Leading and supporting manufacturing safety programs

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically PPE, lock out tag out, and machine guarding

• Experience with injury investigations, monitoring of accidents, handling of workers' compensation claims

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Environment

Hours are 1st shift, Monday - Friday
