The Consultant Bus Systems for Employee Technology Experience delivers and deploys solutions to improve interactions between ITSS and our employee users. Responsible for managing assigned projects, technology capabilities, and outcomes to optimally achieve ITSS goals and objectives. Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope. Accountable for all areas of project delivery including scope/requirement definition, risk identification, task management, resource allocation, testing and status reporting. Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations in addition to supporting both current system improvements/maintenance and new system development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with vendors/engineering teams to understand offerings/capabilities and inform technology solutions

  • Build and share detailed system roadmaps for employe user experience evolution

  • Leverage research and customer feedback to enable prioritization of high value enhancements to ITSS capabilities

  • Apply technology to enable business solutions and validate solution meets business needs

  • Identify goals, benefits, and success metrics for assigned projects and related technology improvements

  • Manage project lifecycle for ITSS technology solutions / capabilities. Ensure that all project deliverables are on track throughout the project lifecycle and take appropriate action when needed

  • Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives

  • Solicit, write and/or analyze business and technical requirements

  • Enable delivery teams through the clear articulation of business requirements that can be translated to technical solutions. Provide direction and participate in prioritization of backlogs for engineering teams

  • Manage/monitor the testing process (e.g., end-to-end, SIT, UAT, load testing), and ensure defects are closed prior to deployment

  • Manage/ensure proper release/deployment/functionality of the project (e.g., post-implementation testing, auditing, reporting)

  • Prepare internal ITSS teams for technology and support changes. Ensure that controls are identified and operationalized to allow benefit tracking and reporting

  • Monitor project results going forward and ensure that the project is delivering the expected benefits to the business, obtaining feedback from stakeholders as appropriate (e.g., benefit management)

  • Identify root causes of substandard project outcomes and recommend appropriate resolution

  • Create and manage communication plan; partner with areas across C2E to ensure pro-active messaging related to end user impacts

  • Establish governance framework through key operating mechanisms and evolve them as needed

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and constructive relationships between ITSS and supporting Technology/Process owners

  • Develop deep partnerships across the company to ensure we are collaborating towards common IT support goals

  • Provide timely business communication to key stakeholders, team members and business partners

  • Work independently and be self-starting

  • Work in a team and act as a resource for others

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Project Management or program implementation experience

  • 2+ years of Customer service, user experience or relationship management experience

  • 2+ years of Service desk operations/management experience

  • 2+ years of experience managing project tasks / product improvements

  • 2+ years of experience of working with a diverse range of project team members including a successful track record of influencing and engagement and able to establish credibility and build relationships

  • IT work experience, possibly in multiple functions supporting desktop, applications, and mobile devices

  • Proven ability to show innovation and creativity through problem-solving and decision making

  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and compelling way

  • Proven solid curiosity & self-drive, able to prioritize, work independently and manage own time, with limited supervision

  • Proven to be adaptable and flexible to meet objectives and changing priorities

  • Willing to work schedule that includes partial US daytime hours based on Business needs
