Nvidia Senior Software Engineer, C++ and Qt in Munich, Germany

In the Software Developer Tools Team, we enable 1st & 3rd-party developers to turn NVIDIA's hardware into groundbreaking cluster, server, professional, consumer, automotive, and embedded solutions.
What you will be doing:
Join the Developer Tools team to work on software such as Nsight Systems.
Work with a wide variety of hardware platforms, ranging from small embedded systems, to large multi-GPU and NUMA servers and clusters.
Design and implement product features in C++ and using Qt Widgets that would help visualize and explain the performance data.
Help migrate parts of the existing C++ user interfaces towards a client-server architecture, and a modern frontend development stack with TypeScript and React.
Improve tests, from small unit tests all the way to comprehensive UI tests. Work with QA engineers to develop a test plan for the new features.
Communicate across multiple teams to collect and understand the requirements. Understand how the underlying hardware and software works, and use that knowledge to deliver valuable features to the users. Participate in all phases of the software life cycle.
Collaborate with team members across multiple time zones in a dynamic, high-energy work environment.
Interact with internal and external users, help them get the maximum value out of our products, and deliver their feedback to the product team.
What we need to see:
Excellent problem solving, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
Strong C++ knowledge, experience working with concurrent code.
Experience with Qt Widgets.
Strong grasp of algorithms and computer architecture.
BS or MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering and 4 years of experience in a related software position.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background in developing user interfaces, driving them from mockups through product design reviews and to completion.
Experience with GPUs, CUDA, HPC, clusters, networking, and distributed environments.
Experience with Python.
