Amazon Sales Strategy & Ops Analyst, AWS Europe Central in Munich, Germany

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, self-starter with excellent analytical skills who is passionate about leveraging data to measure every area of the business and influence decision making to join the Europe Central Sales Strategy and Operations Team.

The Europe Central Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst will act as a trusted advisor to AGS Europe Central sales team. You will work closely with the sales team to establish, implement, and achieve our key business objectives. This includes overseeing sales operations, executing growth initiatives, managing annual planning in collaboration with the Europe Central operations, and be responsible for sales reporting, analytics, goal tracking and driving Rhythm of Business such as Business/Pipeline reviews, forecasting. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiencies across the Europe Central Sales Team.

The successful candidate is expected to collaborate effectively with internal customers and cross-functional data teams to solve problems, implement scalable mechanism, install appropriate levels of structure and control, dive deep where necessary and deliver against high standards. This individual will be detail-oriented, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.

This is an individual contributor role and will be based in Germany (Munich).

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Partner with the AGS Europe Central leadership in building the sales strategy, goals and mechanisms

• Develop a deep understanding of business metrics and reporting tools to provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards.

• Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to the sales teams and managers

• Develop scalable business mechanisms and tools to simplify, standardize, and drive operational excellence

• Develop relationships and processes with sales, partner, finance, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to refine the tools and processes needed to drive ops and productivity improvement

• Assist Sales Managers in forecasting, pipeline management and deal reviews

• Generate ad hoc and monthly recurring analyses for goal tracking and operational performance, driving the rhythm of business in Europe Central.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
