The Industry team works with music labels, artists, managements and other partners to offer the best experience for our customers. To complete the team, we are looking for a creative and results-oriented Industry Program Manager for DE/AT, who will focus on building and managing new programs to attract and engage our key target audiences. The position works in collaboration with other Industry teams and will partner across the wider Amazon ecosystem (Prime Video, Amazon Games, Twitch, Audible, Alexa, etc.), driving holistic programs, supporting key initiatives and coordinating operational needs.

The ideal candidate is a strong program and project manager who is customer obsessed, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. This candidate has strong ownership, relevant experience, demonstrated strengths in using data to inform business strategy and ability to make recommendations to leadership based on customer insights. They collaborate well with cross-functional partners across local, regional and global Amazon Music teams and are comfortable generating cross-team support for new programs.

The successful candidate will be based in Munich or Berlin.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create and manage dedicated Music Industry programs to support growth and engagement for Amazon Music

  • Drive new programs and maximize success on a local and international level

  • Coordinate integrated planning and execution of Industry led projects

  • Support project management of local priority campaigns

  • Partner with Global Industry Operations team on process improvements, global campaign set-up and best practice sharing, to maximize operational efficiency

  • Work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to enable successful Music Industry programs

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree or equivilant

  • Demonstrated program or project management success

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams to execute high-quality deliverables

  • Comfortable working in cross-cultural and international environments across time zones

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and successfully operate in a fast-paced, start-up environment where managers are owners wearing multiple hats

  • Strategic, creative and out-of-the-box thinking; collaborative team-player

  • Fluency in English and German with superior oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or advanced degree

  • Knowledge of the German music market, ideally with focus on product-, project-, or program management

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong hands-on and results oriented mentality

  • Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically, going the extra mile to achieve goals

  • Experience of operating and collaborating in a cross-functional matrixed global organization

  • Previous experience in developing and delivering big (music/entertainment) campaigns

  • Passion for building new creative concepts and ability to analyze impact and relevant KPIs

  • Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced, ambiguous environment
