As Data Analyst Strategic Controlling in SCM/Procurement (f/m/d), you are committed to drive digitalization projects, process optimization and global sustainability reporting initiatives by using your methodological competence and innovative (BI-)Tools as well as continuously enhancing your skillset.

  • You are responsible for analyzing company-wide procurement data and resolving performance targets

  • Thereby you ensure a successful global reporting and controlling of relevant critical metrics (focus on procurement, incl. sustainability)

  • Your tasks also include the visualization of KPIs in easy-to-understand and user-friendly dashboards, including creating the underlying data model/management to identify weaknesses, risks and trends

  • Furthermore, the budget planning process is part of your area of responsibility

  • You act as a dynamic interface for the Businesses, Regions and our Pooling team

  • You play a meaningful role as subject matter expert by coordinating expert and working groups in the area of sustainability reporting with focus on decarbonization

  • Thereby you support the development of a performance controlling approach for (product) carbon reduction measures

  • You monitor the quality and implementation of such carbon reduction productivity measures by the Businesses to guarantee worldwide consistency and reasonable reporting assurance

  • You work in cross-functional digitalization projects with focus on sustainability, process optimization and improvement of data related and technical topics

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Your success is based on a master's degree preferably in economics, (business) informatics or a scientific field

  • Bringing at least 3 years of professional experience e.g., in accounting, controlling, project management preferably in a procurement or sustainability related environment, ideally complemented with knowledge around carbon accounting

  • You enjoy working with large amounts of data and have the ability to tell a story based on the analyzed data

  • In addition to the usual IT tools such as Microsoft Office you already have worked with BI and visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense and Alteryx

  • You are very good at conceptualizing new ideas and approaches and also successful in implementing them

  • In addition, you have very good analytical skills for solving complex tasks and methodological competence

  • Personally, you are highly dedicated and impress us with your motivation, influence and ability to inspire change across all organizational levels and geographical boundaries

  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English complete your profile
