Citigroup Tax Transfer Pricing Manager in Mumbai, India
Job Description:
Management of end-to-end documentation process for the allocated share of TP reports/country responsibilities. Preferred prior experience with Financial Services and Financial transactions Transfer Pricing along with understanding of benchmarking analysis.
Act as a checker/ reviewer of the documents prepared by juniors.
Work in close coordination with the Controller TP team, tax teams, business, finance and tax professionals. Regular interaction with business and controllers to understand the business model.
Gathering and analyzing data relating to intercompany transactions.
Perform functional interviews and understand extremely complex flows and products.
Timely and effective escalation management for any business queries.
Providing guidance to junior staff on complex queries.
Leading and managing day-to-day calls with business to seek appropriate clarifications and information.
Preparation of statutory TP disclosures, if required.
Assist in standardizing the process and putting in place the required documentation.
Lead initiatives related to Wdesk
Ad-hoc tax transfer pricing work as may be assigned.
Experience:
4-7 years of experience in direct/ international taxation or tax transfer pricing
Financial services TP experience is essential.
Skills:
Advanced Knowledge of tax transfer pricing and valuation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced understanding of financial products and financial services industry
Advance level knowledge in MS Word and intermediate level knowledge in MS Excel
Deadline oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
Relevant global regulations on transfer pricing (OECD guidelines, BEPS action plans)
