Job Purpose
The Sr. Production Technologist is responsible for evaluating mature field production and recommending the most suitable technical and economical solutions for client, providing high-end support in reservoir production and optimization, and contributing to product lines and business growth across the Asia Geozone. By focusing on both technical and business development aspects, this role is pivotal in driving production efficiencies and fostering client relationships, thereby significantly contributing to the company's growth and market leadership.
Please note- This role can be filled in either Mumbai or Jakarta, depending on the candidate's location.

OPERATIONS
Mature Field Evaluation : Conduct comprehensive assessments of mature oil and gas fields to identify potential for increased recovery and enhanced production.
Reservoir Analysis: Perform detailed reservoir characterization including petrophysical analysis, reservoir modeling, and decline curve analysis.
Production Data Interpretation: Analyze historical production data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Techniques: Evaluate the feasibility and implement EOR methods such as water flooding, gas injection, and chemical EOR to maximize recovery.
Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement best practices and advanced technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Technology Integration: Advocate for and facilitate the integration of new technologies (e.g., CCUS, Green Energy, etc.) and digital solutions (e.g., IoT, AI, machine learning) to optimize production processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations and standards to mitigate risks and enhance sustainability.
Reservoir Management : Provide technical expertise to clients to optimize reservoir production and enhance field performance.
Production Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for well interventions, artificial lift optimization, and stimulation techniques to boost production rates.
Reservoir Surveillance: Design and execute reservoir surveillance programs, including well testing, pressure monitoring, and fluid sampling.
Production Forecasting: Utilize advanced reservoir simulation tools to forecast production and develop field development plans.
Consultancy Services: Offer tailored consultancy services to clients, providing expert advice on production challenges and solutions.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops for client personnel on reservoir management best practices and new technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with client teams to ensure seamless implementation of production optimization strategies and to address any technical issues that arise.
Business Development : Expand the company's market presence and client base through strategic business development initiatives.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Proposal Development: Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new contracts and projects.
Partnerships: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with technology providers, service companies, and other stakeholders to enhance service offerings.
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
Build effective and respectful communication with client for pre job, ongoing, and post job for technical support.
FINANCIAL

REQUIRED:
Technical Expertise: Strong background in reservoir engineering, production technology, and EOR techniques.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, reservoir simulation, and production forecasting.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies effectively. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, market dynamics, and business development principles.
Software: Familiarity with the petrotechnical applications such as Petrel, RMS, TechLog, tNavigator, PI Systems, Spotfire, Eclipse, WellFlow, Prosper, Python, etc.
Proficient with a wide variety of business productivity and infrastructure solution including Microsoft Windows, UNIX, data networks, audio-visual systems, and more.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey the message to non-technical personnel.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a dynamic environment.
