Context/Scope:

Regional Replenishment Planner is a key managerial position responsible for S&OP function within the region. Regional Replenishment Planner collaborates closely with Supply & Commercial function for western region. Role plays an essential role in the supply chain function by using analytical, marketing, and sales data of a company to effectively replenish correct sku’s by estimating future product demands and drive the replenishment & demand planning process.

S/he will also play a critical role in driving the digital transformation of supply chain processes, leveraging existing and new platforms and tools to enhance planning capabilities for effective response to dynamic market environment.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of the role is to drive end to end regional S&OP process of replenishment for all the categories/brands across the markets in the region. The role will also be responsible for creating seamless flow of demand plan, lead the team to deliver high level of customer service and be an important stakeholder for commercial leaders to help delivering business growth while optimizing supply chain.

Candidate shall be required to handle business deliverables for western states of India. Every state may have different complexity with respect to Route to Market, Regulatory requirements, SKU mix, manufacturing footprint etc.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Engineer and MBA in Supply Chain Management from a premier Institute preferably

  • 0+ years of post MBA experience

  • Experience in planning in a reputed organization with mature supply planning processes in the FMCG / CPG space

  • Experience of managing large number of SKU complexity

  • Understanding of end to end supply chain and business

  • Digital capability (experience of implementing supply chain tools and systems)

  • Talent management

Daily Indenting to all units as per set Norms

Ensuring timely indents are provided to units to replenish correct sku’s as per set standard norms.

Collaboration with production planner to ensure all required stock available for dispatches.

Collaboration with central move team to ensure all required trucks are available for dispatches.

Close coordination with commercial team to sense demand changes / seasonality during the month.

Service Level Management

Tracking of inventory and ensuring no stock outs by taking proactive actions and replenishment cycle. Any material, production related challenge also needs to be reviewed along with day-to-day operational challenges if any

Renovation & Price change (15%)

Ensuring smooth transition during renovation & price change cycle at customer level to ensure highest service level.

Process Improvement and Productivity

Drive continuous improvement in the supply chain process. Deliver productivity savings and implement supply chain tools and systems in line with central digitization startegy.
