Position Title: Accounts Analyst - Branch

The branch accountant oversees the entire accounting operations at the branch to facilitate timely and correct reporting. Drive compliance and strong controls to ensure adherence to the defined guidelines such as NAS, TTS guidelines etc. Keep a strong control on budgets and drive various cost optimization initiatives

Key Output

• Ensure effective PEC delivery as well has adherence to defined PEC timelines. Drive the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and complaince to all internal and external guidelines. Participate in HO reviews

• Ensure effective management of Fixed assets in line with the internal and external guidelines (e-waste laws on disposal for example). Drive periodic audits to ascertain and close any gaps between the physical status of the assets and the asset master record.

• Zero debtors mindset - Ensure no overdues at month end. Work towards reducing direct party receivables by corodinating with HO, 4C and the OT team.

• Leverage digital in collections - Enhance reach of CF program, collaborate with Bank to onboard new distirbutors in the Channel Finance Program.

• Drive cost savings and optimisation of structural cost. Work closely with supply chain to optimize FDC/VDC cost across DCs

• Ensure balance sheet integrity and timely closure of open line items

• Month end, Quarter end and Year end reporting to Head Office including relevant schedules, business comments and addressing queries

• Perform key checks and ensure efficacy of controls via periodic self audits and adherence to IACL checklist

• Drive efficiency and compliance in DC operations and processes by ensuring timely DC audits and adherence to material handling checklists
