The SAP Master Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and governance of master data within the SAP system. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization, supporting business processes and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP master data management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of master data specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement master data management strategies, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and validation of master data in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Lead data governance initiatives, including data quality assessments, data cleansing, and data enrichment activities.
Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of master data across systems.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of master data specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP master data management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of SAP modules and master data objects (e.g., Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master).
Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality management.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
SAP certification is a plus.
