Amazon Enterprise Account Manager, FSI in Mumbai, India

Description

As an Enterprise Account Manager for AWS India, your responsibilities will include building and driving the strategy to increase adoption, and market penetration in large Public Sector Banking & Insurance accounts to build long-term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a business development/sales background that enables them to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organisations, including C-levels of the business and IT.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key companies at the C-levels of Business & IT

• Good understanding of Banking and Financial Services Industry with an ability to articulate how AWS can help transform the industry, including influencing business outcomes positively

• Work closely with the Channels team to ensure that AWS India is the partner's preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines.

• Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.

• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.

• Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).

• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Research and preparation for the day’s customers meetings and calls. Collaborate with Cross functional teams on pitches, demos & solutions play

Stakeholder mapping

Deeply understand customer stakeholders on the business & people front, to be able to craft value propositions aligned to their business goals

Ensure high standards and maintain SFDC hygiene

Ensure timely communication with External and Internal stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• The right person will possess 12+ years of experience in account management experience in working with enterprise accounts in the large Banking space.

• A good knowledge of the domain is key to success.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level Banking executives across both business and IT

• Technical competencies in the areas of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, banking application ISVs and enterprise software.

• Ability to engage banking executives across levels and navigate organizational processes to drive change

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferably Engineer / MBA A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus

• Ability work with regional partners and Global systems integrators alike.

• Ability to orchestrate both internally and externally to drive large opportunities including RFPs, to drive transformational outcomes with patience & long term outlook

• A good understanding of Public sector Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), their key drivers, business priorities, processes and organizational behaviour to be able to successfully navigate them & drive change
