Profile Description**

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an APAC Travel Support Director to manages all day to day operational, vendor management and service related issues within APAC, including Travel Agency, Air and Hotel programs, Passport & Visa Services, Travel Automation, Travel Technology, Reporting and VIP Handling (inbound /outbound) as well as support the various initiatives / implementations being worked on by the Travel Team. Support may at time also be required for Ground Transportation, Accommodation and the Corporate Card Program

This is a Director position within Travel and Meetings Management, which specializes in the Firm's travel and meetings management activities. We may work with outside travel-related companies and agents, such as airlines, hotels, travel agents, and car rental agencies.

What you’ll do in the role:**

• Ensure acceptable service delivery of key vendors including Agency • Drive operation efficiencies, understand key markets, challenge existing operational processes and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement • Manage all day to day operational, vendor management and service related issues • Provide strategic leadership and prioritize initiatives focused on value delivery, efficiency / cost savings, governance and control. • Develop relationships with in-house governance functions including Law & Compliance and Finance administration and Operations to ensure policy is followed. • Along with the Regional Travel Manager, represent APAC in all global, regional and local initiatives, RFP's & negotiations and manage communications in line with the guidelines of CS management. • Contribute to Corporate Services business continuity planning and risk management on aspects related to travel • Participate in supporting the Asia Hotel Program: customer service needs, interacting with Hotel suppliers and providing support during RFP and negotiations • Manage the implementation, new report development, and data quality of integrated travel reporting tool (TravelOptix); support end-user training and roll-out across TMM team and internal clients (Division COO teams, Expense Management) • Promote Corporate Services, generate effective communications, good relations and a positive image with suppliers and co-workers promoting courtesy, diversity and fairness • Maintain up to date commercial and contractual knowledge of the marketplace and methods adopted by peer groups / other industries to ensure that best practices are continually developed


What you’ll bring to the role:**

• 5 years as a Business Travel professional managing operational service delivery and reporting in a demanding and challenging business environment. • Professional vendor management, RFP procedures and travel industry automation systems (GDS/CRS). • Managing internal and external professional business relationships at a senior management level. • Language skills: Fluent in English Communication skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills • Computer Literacy (Software Applications / Mainframe): Microsoft applications and a functional understanding of travel global distribution systems • Strong analytical and presentation skills; ability to leverage data to support decision making • Ability to work independently • Flexible and willing to work long hours (evenings, weekends) and travel as needed • Ability to work smart under pressure and efficiently on multiple project requests simultaneously
