Purpose and Scope:

As an individual contributor of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, will focus on the growth and development of individuals within a specific area of expertise. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.

A Testing Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance and testing protocols for their company's products to ensure they meet industry and company standards. The role requires a blend of business acumen, understanding of technical architectures, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams This role requires a meticulous approach to testing and a deep understanding of various testing methodologies and tools.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Agile Collaboration and Communication:

• Actively participate in all phases of the Agile development process, including planning, refinement, review, and retrospective meetings. Work closely with the Product Owner to understand requirements and ensure that acceptance criteria are clear and testable.

• Communicate effectively with developers and other team members to ensure a mutual understanding of the product and its challenges.

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain test strategies and plans that align with the sprint goals and overall project objectives. Create detailed, effective test cases and scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria. Execute manual and automated tests during sprints to ensure continuous integration and deployment readiness.

• Quality Assurance and Control: Serve as a quality gatekeeper, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards before they are deployed. Monitor all stages of software creation to identify system malfunctions and help diagnose software issues.

• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies. Work closely with the development team to facilitate quick resolutions. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.

• Automation and Tool Utilization: Implement and manage testing tools and frameworks to support effective testing and results reporting. Contribute to the enhancement of automated testing practices and tools.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospective meetings to suggest improvements to make the development process more efficient. Stay up to date with new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices in Agile testing.

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst, Test Engineer, or similar role

• 3trong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

• Experience with automated testing tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Experience with performance and/or security testing

• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE is preferred

• Familiarity with programming languages and scripting s preferred

• Strong knowledge of testing processes and methods, and in using testing tools like ALM,

• Good knowledge in SAP materials management/logistics execution functionality – (MRP), sourcing, inventory management, material valuation, delivery processing (inbound/outbound), local and legal regulations

• Good knowledge of various procurement processes like intra/intercompany procurement, subcontracting, serialization

• Good Knowledge of SAP-ITM/GTS (focus on ITM) for denied party, import/export, licenses, and INTRASTAT

• Must have hands-on SAP experience in configuration and testing of all the Supply Chain modules, as in MM, PUR, LE, IM, LO, BM, QM, MRP, PP, PM, WM etc.

• Should also have hands on exposure to integration of MM/Logistic execution functions with other modules like FI, CO, SD

• Knowledge of integration with 3PL warehouse solutions, Supplier Portals, Track and Trace, and similar other logistics 3rd party systems

• In depth knowledge of FIORI, Analytics, Reporting, Gen-AI, ML

• Very Strong GxP knowledge
