Citigroup Banking - Banking Senior Analyst - C10, Officer - Mumbai in Mumbai, India
The Banking Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Banking Senior Analyst also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
Responsibilities:
Create different reports on client level data and assist in running the client level profitability report on a monthly basis for different products
Work with global business advisory team, which is part of the Prime finance division
Create reports on various aspects of fund movement for hedge funds and other large asset management funds
Assist with creating a master data repository for multiple client level dimensions and identify meaningful insights
Provide teams with requested data, analysis, or reports in a timely fashion
Provide assistance in ensuring presentation data is comprehensive
Create presentations based on conversation with partners
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Relevant years of experience
Experience in Quantitative Analysis
Basic knowledge of market products such as Equities, Credit, and Rates
Fundamental knowledge of SQL/BO Queries
Experience with Coalition, Oliver Wyman, Greenwich
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/project in a high-risk environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated influencing and relationship management skills
Respect for information confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
