Citigroup AVP - Facilities and Construction Manager in Mumbai, India

In this role, you are expected to:

Assist in providing operational support to the Global Head of Facilities & Construction (F&C) and working with the F&C senior leadership team to facilitate decision-making and to help meet the group's business objectives.

This position reports to the F&C Head and will be responsible for supporting daily operations and will assist and support the following services:

Data Management and Analytics

• Benchmarking, Quantifying and Tracking performance against committed goals and key performance indicators via periodic scorecard updates.

• Driving special projects working with the Head of F&C, including simplification and transformation efforts

• Manage submissions to Regional and Global seniors in close coordination with Head of F&C Data Management and Analytics Ability to work with different types of data, and in different levels of maturity to support and drive decision making, though:

• Setting parameters

• Gathering and synthesizing

• Creating insights and data models

Supporting Special Projects

• Drive/ Assist in special projects such as sponsorships, VOE engagements etc. • Take on high level requests with sufficient depth and breadth to translate into specific analysis and project deliverables, often within tight timelines.

• Support coordination, planning and production of materials for Town Halls, Leadership Offsites, and special events.

• Support end to end Process improvement and Simplification efforts from initiation.

• Workflow Mapping and Analysis,

• Business Plan creation through to execution- Set-up, Regular Status updates, Tracking and Implementation

Talent Management

  • Provide effective overview and reporting of the F&C team and coordination of the F&C talent management programs.

  • Support management and monitoring of staffing metrics, forecasts, and organizational charts.

  • Assist in understanding the shifts in abilities required for Real Estate professionals, and how to develop those attributes across the team

  • Support and coordination of staffing documents (job requisitions, promotions, re -org materials).

  • Coordination of performance management milestones and talent days. • Monitor F&C participation in staff rewards/recognition programs and talent programs.

Financial Management & Strategy

  • Provide financial modeling of solutions including life cycle cost analysis and assist in taking strategic solutions on capital investment: •

  • Provide financial inputs on various F&C initiatives and strategies to the team during planning and budgeting cycle •

  • Developing executive presentations, project reports, and dashboards •

  • Support and develop cost plans for initiatives also covering the complete product life •

  • Provide oversight on F&C financial plan •

  • Work closely with F&C leadership team on various strategies •

  • Partner with different internal stakeholders to ensure implementation of the strategic

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate setting and 8-10 years overall; Corporate Real Estate and/or Financial Services experience a plus.

  • Experience of working in diverse international environment

  • Strong understanding of data management, analytics and modeling • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a wide audience.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

  • An independent self-starter who works well in ambiguous situations and demonstrates integrity with minimal supervision.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.

  • Critical thinker with an understanding of process and relationships.

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and listening skills.

  • An ability to influence others without formal authority and obtain support across organizational boundaries.

  • A "team player" orientation able to work collaboratively with others, with good conflict resolution skills.

  • Effectiveness at working across various levels.

  • Solid technology orientation with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel recommended.

  • Experience in a large, multi-national corporation or an entity with similar global reach and complexity a plus
