Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management. Primary Responsibilities ** The role is based out of Mumbai and requires working with the Hong Kong Content development & Sales Teams. The role will require a fast-learning, dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated person to assist the team in day to day activities.
Responsibilities for this role would involve: · Research Summaries: Compiling summaries of published research · Tracking Research changes: Tracking & reporting changes done by research to stock ratings & price targets · Maintaining the meeting agenda: Co-ordinating with analysts in Asia-Pacific region to schedule the morning meetings on a daily basis · Week Ahead: Preparing earnings calendar for Asia Pacific region · Events Calendar: Preparing a list of economic data events · Speaker Tracking: Tracking of speaker details who have presented in the morning & afternoon meetings · Ad-hoc requests: There will also be adhoc requests related to markets
Office timing: 3.30am to 12.30pm
Skills required (essential)
We are looking for a confident and outgoing person, who has exceptional attention to detail and is proactive in taking initiative.
· Graduate (B.Com with 1-2 years of financial market exposure) or Fresh BMS Graduates with financial market knowledge · Excellent written & spoken English; Excellent business writing skills · Excellent telephone skills (regular phone contact with team required) · Advanced knowledge and extensive hands on experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. · Attention to detail · Team work · Problem solving Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
