nVent PLM Technical Support Specialist in Mumbai, Indiana

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Provide technical support for PLM platforms (ENOVIA 3DEXPERIENCE) and become an subject matter expert in application processes and resolving user issues.

• Troubleshooting PLM application issues and working collaboratively with technical and functional teams to identify long-term solutions.

• Develop and execute test plans to validate different modules of application development against business requirements.

• Perform functional, performance, regression testing, and reporting on existing and new products.

• Evaluate, identify, and document opportunities to drive process improvements to positively impact the customer’s experience.

• Monitor PLM server stack and perform periodic tune ups and updates.

• Review hardware and software compatibility per specifications by principal software OEM (Dassault Systems) for effective performance of applications.

• Install and configure PLM software on the server end and at workstations.

• Provide functional & technical support and identify risks and opportunities in our platforms and processes.

• Ensure that all major software and hardware components of the PLM landscape are up to date to ensure secure and stable operations.

• Involve in various stages of PLM Functional and Software Development Life Cycle including, analysis, debugging, testing, deployment and production support.

• Support DevOps processes and testing automation.

YOU HAVE:

• Academic background in in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and/or equivalent experience

o A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.

• Previous experience

o Ideally 4+ years’ experience with ENOVIA 3DEXPERIENCE, product development and application support.

o Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting application and server issues.

o Experience with ENOVIA 3DEXPERIENCE server configurations and support.

o Experience in developing test scripts and executing different software testing methods.

o Administrative experience managing and supporting PLM and/or 3DExperience environments.

o Experience in installing and configuring ENOVIA 3DEXPERIENCE application suite.

o Experience with Enovia CAD connectors like SolidWorks SWI or similar is preferred.

Skills

o Strong knowledge of Enovia 3DExperience architecture, data model and APIs

o Strong analytical and problem solving skills

o Proficient in MQL and TCL scripting for data manipulations and report generations

o Experience in Core Java, JSP, Java Script

o Experience in DevOps processes and test automation tools

o Knowledge in Agile Scrum process and Jira tool

o Experience in Apache and Tomee configurations, web deployment and SSL certificates

o Knowledge of HTML5 and RESTful web services

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

o Ability to work productively and effectively as part of a global team.

o Ability to travel up to 10%
