We are looking for a Data and Applied Scientist to partner with a wide range of Engineers, PMs, and Security PMs, build and deliver solutions using Data Engineering, PowerBI dashboards, and Machine Learning. Not limited to the mentioned problem space, this person should be able to own one or more areas of opportunities and identify Business or Engineering problems, dig out sources of data, conduct the analysis that would reveal useful insights, and build data driven insights, KPIs for Monthly Business Reviews for Senior leadership and build LLM based Machine Learning solutions. .

Responsibilities
• Build data pipelines using Kusto queries, Python, and build leadership level metrics, KPIs, trends and visualizations using Power BI dashboards.
• Proficient in the latest Azure stack, Azure Open AI, LLM (Large Language Models), GPT models, Generative AI to apply in MSRC to help automate workflows and processes.
• Partner with Security PMs, Security engineering, and leadership teams to implement scalable data-driven frameworks for evaluating metrics and KPIs, and build scalable PowerBI dashboards.
• Build tools for data manipulation, processing, and visualization to extract insights and share these tools, knowledge, and findings across partner teams.
• Interpret data and communicate in a clear and lucid way to a wide variety of audiences.
• Influence decision-making by providing clarity through complex datasets and statistical analyses.Mentor early-in-career teammates and establish high standards in both data science and engineering excellence
• Work in collaboration with teammates to ensure reliable and trust-worthy data for critical business decisions to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or related field AND 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering work
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or related field AND 5+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work
OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or related field AND 3+ years of business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering work experience
OR equivalent experience.
Data Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
